The scenery for this production was based on 5 Steeldeck platforms arranged in an arc. The venue had an existing curved white soft cyc. The main problem that was encountered was a lack of flying bars. The LX bars were manual winches, with 250Kg SWL. These showed substantial evidence of having been overloaded in the past and needed maintenance. The remaining lines were double purchase hemps. The legs were flown on dedicated short bars fixed to the wing walls. The teaser was flown on a conduit bar. This was taken out during the finale to allow the Vari*Lites to sweep out into the audience.

The front of the platforms was dressed with arches. The central arch had a pair of gates. A trap door MSL was used for Judas’ death exit.
