The FOH lighting rig consisted mainly of a two colour wash. In keeping with the look of the piece, set in biblical times, this was a cold and warm wash. Some stronger colours were added using PAR64s from the perches. Additionally, a three colour wash was added from the on stage lighting rig. Most of the specials were done by seven VL6s over stage, with four Martin CX-2s adding colour and texture from the sides.

A Source 4 Junior was used as an onstage follow spot  from the DSR corner.

Different colours were used in the floor and flies cyc lights, to produce graded backdrops.

Four PAR36 pinspots were used behind Jesus’ head on the cross, to produce a halo effect.

150W floods were used to uplight the archways under the set in either open white or red.

In the finale flying the teaser out meant that the VLs on LX1 could sweep out to cover the entire audience.

Lee lighting gels were used throughout and their colour numbers are shown in the rectangles on the design. Lighting circuit numbers are shown in ovals.
