Haze was used to accent the beams of the lights and smoke was used to produce a very dusty effect. This was best seen in the Gethsemane scene.

The VL6s were used to produce spots, texture and movement. This was best illustrated in the lepers scene. This made great use of their long zoom facility.

The on stage follow spot was best seen in Pilates’ song, where the lighting on his face was split bright and dark in the same way as his mood was swinging from bright to dark. This was very effective

The dispatch of Judas worked well, with him being handed a noose and then disappearing from sight down a trap door, hidden behind his executioner. Unfortunately, to hide a large Judas we used a huge Executioner, who repeatedly hit his head on the underside of the upper platform during his entrance.

The light cage around Judas did not work so well due to a lack of haze in the beams.
